Thank you, everyone who has written and been supportive of me in the past months.

I think I’m back now. I found some lovely scans of Nicholas Flamel’s notebook(s) and am working to convert them into brushes. I also have copies from two local newspapers circa 1870-ish that I do hope to scan at some point as well. Other than that, nothing is planned, which leaves plenty of room for surprises… or procrastination.

Where I’ve Been

Hey all.

I’m sorry that I haven’t updated for so long but this year has been very rough for me. For those of you who don’t know, my father passed away on the 27th of May. It was very sudden but he barely suffered, if at all. He had made it through his colon cancer with colors flying but, unfortunately, the doctors neglected to biopsy suspicious lesions on his liver until it was far too late to do anything.

I am slowly working on some sets I’ve had in the works for some time. Please excuse my lack of motivation. I hope to produce something relatively soonish.

New theme, brushes

New theme. It’s a bit wonky because the computer with Photoshop (and GIMP) is being a bit of a prat at the moment. May fix it, may not. Depends on how I feel about it tomorrow. It’s a tribute to David Gray. And yes, it looks remarkably like the theme for my personal site. I am liking that style at the moment. :P

New brushes after a long hiatus. What can I say? I’m playing Warcraft but I have free time when Eloric raids as I am not yet of level to run the instances the guild does. So there just may be more brushes soonish.

I know I’ve been quiet for a while- my father had an operation for colon cancer at the beginning of last month and had complications, so I’ve been uninspired. He’s doing better now- much, much better, so I’m getting my groove back. Hopefully, I’ll be able to crank out some sets or decent gradients before next month, which is when I’ll be tied down doing NaNoWriMo

As mentioned, I’ve started doing PSP gradients. They’re relatively simple and rather fun. And they make updates happen more frequently.
